     Good morning!  First, go make yourself a cup of tea!  Sip slowly and relax.  Today is a beautiful day.  When you are done, come back and we can get 

started.  

Reading

1. Choose a book that you would like me to read to you and your brother. 
2. Now, read to us! You can read The Quest for the Diamond Sword or something different if you want.

Grammar

1. I found a fun site that I want to try out.  Go to Grammaropolis and do half of the lesson about nouns.  Go until you complete Big Quiz #1.  Did you enjoy it?

Spelling

1. Play Halfpipe Hoverball. 

Now, please take a short break.  You get to take a walk!  Please, take my mail to the mailbox when you go.  If you are making good time today you can take your time and enjoy the nice weather.

History- Welcome back! I hope you had a nice walk.

1. Today you will be learning about Cesar Chavez.  When you are done watching, teach me about him.

    2.  Now, watch a video about child labor in the United States. 

Optional:  You may watch CNN Student News if you would like.  Today's news talks about an earthquake that occured in Nepal yesterday.

Writing

     Write anything you want.  If you want to sit outside and write you may do so.  I will be writing in my journal too.  When we are done we can share what we wrote.  

Math

1. Do your Xtramath practice for today.  Good Luck!
2. Do Jump Math.  Stay focused!  You are almost done for the day!  After this you just have games.
3. Now, it is time for math games!  First up is Ultimate Speed Math. This is a racing game.  You will choose subtraction for today's race.
4. Study this picture.  You will need to know the names of the 3-Dimensional shapes for the next game.
   
5. You are ready to save the shapes!  Go play Shape Invaders!
